Galatians 5:22-23 - Fruit of the Holy Spirit?

Does Galatians 5:22-23 have conditions?

Galatians 5:22: "But the FRUIT (of) the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,"

Galatians 5:23: "gentleness, self-control. Against such (things) there-is no law."

Conditions:

It is written: "the FRUIT (of) the SPIRIT is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, self-control" (Galatians 5:22-23).

The "FRUIT (of) the SPIRIT" (Galatians 5:22) would not automatically be produced by the SPIRIT, but would be conditional upon:

1) Not fulfilling the DESIRE of the flesh.

2) Walking by the SPIRIT.

Indeed, 6 verses earlier it is written: "be-walking (by the) SPIRIT and you-will never fulfill (the) DESIRE (of the) flesh" (Galatians 5:16). 

1) If one decides to "fulfill (the) DESIRE (of the) flesh" (Galatians 5:16), that one may produce "the works (of) the flesh" (Galatians 5:19). 

2) If one decides to "be-walking (by the) SPIRIT" (Galatians 5:16), that one would produce "the FRUIT (of) the SPIRIT" (Galatians 5:22).

We see this pattern in the following passages:

Paul wrote that "LOVE" (Galatians 5:22), "PEACE" (Galatians 5:22) and "FAITH" (Galatians 5:22) are part of "the FRUIT (of) the SPIRIT" (Galatians 5:22). Paul also commanded to:

1) Flee youthful DESIRES.

2) Pursue FAITH, LOVE, PEACE.

"be-fleeing the youthful DESIRES, and be-pursuing righteousness, FAITH, LOVE, PEACE" (2 Timothy 2:22).

The Greek words for "be-fleeing" (2 Timothy 2:22) and "be-pursuing" (2 Timothy 2:22) are in the imperative mood, which expresses a command to the hearer to perform something by the order and authority of the one commanding. The indicative mood in the Greek was not used there, which would simply have been a description of something happening.

Another example: Paul wrote that "PATIENCE, KINDNESS" (Galatians 5:22) are part of "the FRUIT (of) the SPIRIT" (Galatians 5:22). Paul also commanded to:

1) Put to death evil DESIRE.

2) Put on KINDNESS and PATIENCE.

"put-to-death (your) body-part (things) on earth — sexual-immorality, impurity, passion, evil DESIRE" (Colossians 3:5) and "put-on deep-feelings (of) compassion, KINDNESS, humblemindedness, gentleness, PATIENCE" (Colossians 3:12).

The Greek words for "put-to-death" (Colossians 3:5) and "put-on" (Colossians 3:12) are in the imperative mood, which expresses a command to the hearer to perform something by the order and authority of the one commanding. The indicative mood in the Greek was not used there, which would simply have been a description of something happening.

Another example: "SELF-CONTROL" (Galatians 5:23) is part of "the FRUIT (of) the SPIRIT" (Galatians 5:22). Peter wrote about:

1) Having escaped from the corruption in the world in evil DESIRE.

2) Supply SELF-CONTROL.

"having-escaped-from the corruption in the world in (evil) DESIRE" (2 Peter 1:4), "in your faith supply virtue; and in (your) virtue, knowledge; and in (your) knowledge, SELF-CONTROL" (2 Peter 1:5-6).

The Greek word for "supply" (2 Peter 1:5) is in the imperative mood, which expresses a command to the hearer to perform something by the order and authority of the one commanding. The indicative mood in the Greek was not used there, which would simply have been a description of something happening.
