Philippians 1:6 - Good work in you will be perfected?
Does Philippians 1:6 have conditions?
Philippians 1:6: "being-confident-of this very (thing): that the (One) having-begun (a) good work IN YOU will-perfect (it) until (the) day (of) Christ —"
Condition:
God would be the One having begun "(a) good work IN YOU" (Philippians 1:6), and would be the One Who "will-perfect (it)" (Philippians 1:6).
Now there would still be a condition on the part of man to work out what God would work in man. Indeed in the next chapter, it is written that God is "working IN YOU" (Philippians 2:13), and there is a condition on the part of man to "be-working-out" (Philippians 2:12) this working, as it is written: "God is the (One) working IN YOU both the wanting and the working" (Philippians 2:13) and "be-working-out your salvation with fear and trembling" (Philippians 2:12).
Thus the One having-begun a good work "IN YOU" (Philippians 1:6) will perfect it, on the condition that "YOU" are also "working-out" (Philippians 2:12) this good work.
