Conditions of salvation can be different depending on the tense.

Past tense:

Paul wrote for example about salvation as a past reality and indicated that FAITH was a condition

"you-are SAVED through FAITH" (Ephesians 2:8).

Future tense:

Paul did not stop at describing salvation in the past tense, but he also described salvation in a future tense
For example, Paul indicated conditions (other than FAITH, separated by the conjunction "AND") of salvation as a future reality:

"SHE-WILL-BE-SAVED [...], IF THEY-MAY-HAVE-CONTINUED in FAITH AND LOVE AND HOLINESS with sound-mindedness" (1 Timothy 2:15).

Paul wrote that salvation was in FAITH in the truth, but also in something else, separating it with the conjunction "AND", as he wrote: "God chose you from the beginning for SALVATION in (the) HOLINESS (of the) Spirit AND FAITH (in the) truth" (2 Thessalonians 2:13).
