1 John 5:12 - Conditional eternal life?

Does 1 John 5:12 have conditions?

1 John 5:12: "The (one) HAVING the Son has the life. The (one) not HAVING the Son (of) God has not the life."

The "life"?

It is written in 1 John 5:12: "The (one) having the Son has the LIFE. The (one) not having the Son (of) God has not the LIFE.

The "LIFE" in 1 John 5:12 is ETERNAL LIFE, as the previous verse indicates: "God gave us ETERNAL LIFE, and this LIFE is in His Son" (1 John 5:11).

"Having" the Son:

Someone "has the life" (1 John 5:12) on the condition of "HAVING the Son" (1 John 5:12).

One condition of HAVING the Son is for example to be abiding in the teaching of Christ, as it is written: "Everyone going-ahead and not abiding in the teaching (of) Christ has not God; the (one) abiding in the teaching — this (one) HAS both the Father and the Son." (2 John 1:9).

Conditions not met for eternal life anymore?:

If someone would not meet the conditions anymore to HAVE ETERNAL life, could that person still HAVE ETERNAL life?
