There is a law in the new covenant: "the law (of) Christ" (Galatians 6:2). There are COMMANDMENTS in a law, and Christ gave COMMANDMENTS

Is there a law in the new covenant?

Christ spoke about COMMANDMENTSKeeping those COMMANDMENTS is described as a condition of ETERNAL LIFE

Jesus was asked by someone: "“Good Teacher, what good (thing) should-I-do in-order-that I-may-have ETERNAL LIFE?” And the (One) said (to) him, ““Why do-you-call Me good? There is One (Who is) good. But if you-wish to-enter into LIFE, keep the COMMANDMENTS”. He-says (to) Him, “Which (ones)?” And Jesus said, “You-shall not murder. You-shall not commit-adultery. You-shall not steal. You-shall not give-false-testimony. Be-honoring (your) father and (your) mother”. And, “You-shall-love your neighbor as yourself”" (Matthew 19:16-19).

Jesus said to the "Father" (John 17:1): "this is ETERNAL LIFE: that they-may-be-knowing You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ Whom You-sent-forth" (John 17:3).
It is written in 1 John about Jesus that "in this we-know that we-have-come-to-know Him: if we-are-keeping His COMMANDMENTS" (1 John 2:3).

Jesus said: "I did not speak out-of Myself, but the Father having-sent Me — He has-given Me (a) COMMANDMENT (as to) what I-should-say and what I-should-speak. And I-know that His COMMANDMENT is ETERNAL LIFE" (John 12:49-50).

It is written in 1 John about God that "this is His COMMANDMENT : that we-may-believe (in) the name (of) His Son Jesus Christ, and (that) we-may-be-loving one-another, just-as He-gave us (the) COMMANDMENT" (1 John 3:23).

Regarding "that we-may-believe (in) the name (of) His Son Jesus Christ" (1 John 3:23) and how it can be linked to "ETERNAL LIFE" (John 12:50), it is written in John: "God so loved the world that He-gave (His) only-born Son, in-order-that everyone believing in Him may not perish, but may-have ETERNAL LIFE" (John 3:16) but "the (one) not believing has-been-judged already, because he has not believed in the name (of) the only-born Son (of) God" (John 3:18).

Regarding that "we-may-be-loving one-another" (1 John 3:23) and how it can be linked to "ETERNAL LIFE" (John 12:50), someone came to Jesus and said: "Teacher, (by) having-done what shall-I-inherit ETERNAL LIFE?" (Luke 10:25), and then said "You-shall-love (the) Lord your God from your whole heart, and with your whole soul, and with your whole strength, and with your whole mind, and your neighbor as yourself" (Luke 10:27), to which Jesus said "You-answered correctly. Be-doing this and YOU-WILL-LIVE" (Luke 10:28).

Paul wrote: "well-worship is profitable for all (things) — having promises (for) the present LIFE and the (one) about-to-come" (1 Timothy 4:8). The "LIFE" (1 Timothy 4:8) that is "about-to-come" (1 Timothy 4:8) would be ETERNAL LIFE.  Paul would have said that "well-worship" (1 Timothy 4:8) would be having promises for this present LIFE and (ETERNAL) LIFE
The Greek word "well-worship" (eusebeia 2150 in Greek, noun) comes from "well-worshiping" (eusebés 2152 in Greek, adjective), which comes from "well" (eu 2095 in Greek, adverb) and "to-worship" (sebó 4576 in Greek, verb). The Greek word for "to-worship" (sebó 4576 in Greek, verb) is only used two times in all the four gospels, specifically in Matthew 15:9 and Mark 7:7, in which Jesus said: "they-are-worshiping (sebontai 4576 in Greek) Me in-vain — teaching (as) teachings (the) COMMANDMENTS (of) humans" (Matthew 15:9, Mark 7:7), "Having-neglected the COMMANDMENT (of) God" (Mark 7:8).
The word "well-worship" (1 Timothy 4:8) can have a link with not "Having-neglected the COMMANDMENT (of) God" (Mark 7:8), which would be having promises for this present LIFE and (ETERNAL) "LIFE" (1 Timothy 4:8).
