Can someone be saved multiple times?

Can someone be saved multiple times?

Saved in the past... but also in the future?

Salvation can be described in the past tense, but also in the present and the future tense:

Paul wrote in 2 Timothy in the PAST tense about "the (One) HAVING-SAVED US" (2 Timothy 1:9), including himself in "US" (2 Timothy 1:9).

Paul wrote in 2 Timothy in the FUTURE tense that "the Lord will-deliver me from every evil work and WILL-SAVE (ME) INTO HIS HEAVENLY KINGDOM" (2 Timothy 4:18).

Paul wrote in 2 Timothy about having been "SAVED" (2 Timothy 1:9) in the PAST, but also that the Lord "WILL-SAVE" (2 Timothy 4:18) him in the FUTURE into the heavenly kingdom.

Saved from sins... multiple times?:

It is possible for someone to be saved from their sins, as it is written: "you-shall-call His name JESUS, for HE-WILL-SAVE His people FROM [apo 575 in Greek] THEIR SINS" (Matthew 1:21).

1 Corinthians 5:

Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians "(to) the church (of) God being in Corinth" (1 Corinthians 1:2) who would have been SAVED in the past.

Paul wrote to them that "SEXUAL-IMMORALITY is actually being-heard (of) AMONG YOU — and such sexual-immorality which (is) not-even among the Gentiles, that someone has (the) wife (of his) father" (1 Corinthians 5:1).

Here "SEXUAL-IMMORALITY" (1 Corinthians 5:1) is a SIN, as Paul wrote one chapter later: "the (one) COMMITTING-SEXUAL-IMMORALITY IS-SINNING" (1 Corinthians 6:18).

It was commanded for that person that "(you are) to-hand-over such (a one to) Satan for (the) destruction (of his) flesh, in-order-that (his) spirit MAY-BE-SAVED on the day (of) the Lord" (1 Corinthians 5:5).

The man whom the Corinthians were "to-hand-over such (a one to) SATAN" (1 Corinthians 5:5) was committing "SEXUAL-IMMORALITY" (1 Corinthians 5:1), and so this disciplinary act could have been done so that he may be disciplined not to practice SEXUAL-IMMORALITY. Depending also on the result of that, "(his) spirit MAY-BE-SAVED" (1 Corinthians 5:5).

We actually learn in 2 Corinthians that this man would probably have been restored to fellowship, indicating that the disciplinary act of 1 Corinthians 5 would probably have been successful for that man to be disciplined not to practice "sexual-immorality" (1 Corinthians 5:1), as Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians: "if anyone has-caused-grief, he-has-grieved not me, but in part (that I not be-(a)-burden), you all. This punishment by the majority (is) sufficient (for) such (a one), so-that on-the-contrary, instead you (should) forgive and comfort (him), (that) such (a one) should not somehow be-swallowed-up (by) more grief. Therefore I-urge you to-confirm (your) love for him. For I also wrote for this (purpose): that I-might-know your approvedness, whether you-are obedient in all (things). And (to) whom you-are-forgiving anything, I-also. For indeed what I-have-forgiven, if I-have-forgiven anything, (is) for your sakes in (the) presence (of) Christ, in-order-that we-may not be-exploited by SATAN. For we-are not unaware (as to) his schemes" (2 Corinthians 2:5-11).

If the man was restored in 2 Corinthians, then the man may have been "SAVED" (1 Corinthians 5:5) from his SIN of "SEXUAL-IMMORALITY" (1 Corinthians 5:1).

The man was "AMONG" (1 Corinthians 5:1) the people of Corinth, which may mean that he was among those who were SAVED from their SIN in the past already, but here that man may have been SAVED from his SIN another time.

2 Corinthians 7:

Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians "(to) the church (of) God being in Corinth" (1 Corinthians 1:2) who would have been SAVED in the past.

Paul wrote to them in 1 Corinthians for example to "Sober-up righteously and DO NOT BE-SINNING, for some have (an) ignorance (of) God. I-SPEAK TO YOUR SHAME" (1 Corinthians 15:34). Here Paul may have implied that they may have been sinning, as he indicated to not do that and "I-SPEAK TO YOUR SHAME" (1 Corinthians 15:34). They would not have to be ashamed if they would not have been sinning.

Paul wrote later in 2 Corinthians to the same audience: "I-am-rejoicing — not that you-were-grieved, but that YOU-WERE-GRIEVED TO REPENTANCE. FOR you-were-grieved in-accordance-with God, in-order-that you-may-suffer-loss in nothing by us. FOR the GRIEF in-accordance-with God WORKS unregretted REPENTANCE TO SALVATION" (2 Corinthians 7:9-10).

These Corinthians were grieved (after Paul wrote to them in 1 Corinthians), and as a result their "GRIEF in-accordance-with God WORKS unregretted REPENTANCE" (2 Corinthians 7:10). This would be a REPENTANCE from SIN

This repentance is said to be "TO SALVATION" (2 Corinthians 7:10). In other words, their repentance led to SALVATION from their SIN

If they were SAVED from their SIN already in the past, this would be another time they would come to be SAVED from their SIN.

Saved out of death... multiple times?:

It is possible for someone to be saved out of death, as it is written: "the (one) having-turned-back (a) sinning (one) from (the) error (of) his way WILL-SAVE his soul OUT-OF [ek 1537 in Greek] DEATH" (James 5:20).

To SAVE someone OUT-OF DEATH can be to make the person become ALIVE, as it is written about God Who "even we being DEAD (ones in) trespasses, MADE(-US)-ALIVE-with Christ — (by) grace you-are SAVED" (Ephesians 2:5).

Now it is possible for someone to become DEAD (from sin) after having been ALIVE

James 5:

In James 2, James called "MY BROTHERS" (James 2:1) the ones "HAVING THE FAITH (OF) OUR LORD JESUS" (James 2:1).

People having the FAITH of Jesus may have been SAVED out of DEATH, as for example Paul wrote about God Who "even we being DEAD (ones in) trespasses, MADE(-US)-ALIVE-with Christ — (by) grace you-are SAVED" (Ephesians 2:5) "through FAITH" (Ephesians 2:8).

In James 5, James wrote: "MY BROTHERS, if ANYONE AMONG YOU ERRS FROM THE TRUTH and someone turns him back, let-him-know that the (one) having-turned-back (A) SINNING (ONE) from (the) error (of) his way WILL-SAVE his soul OUT-OF DEATH" (James 5:19-20).

This person who would have been AMONG "MY BROTHERS" (James 5:19) would have needed here to be SAVED "OUT-OF DEATH" (James 5:20).

If this person would have already been SAVED out of DEATH in the past by "HAVING THE FAITH (OF) OUR LORD JESUS" (James 2:1), then here after ERRING FROM THE TRUTH and being "(A) SINNING (ONE)" (James 5:20) such a person would have needed to be SAVED "OUT-OF DEATH" (James 5:20) another time.
